We’ve bought several little wine racks over the years that haven’t quite made it through our home. So I think that it’s about time that we graduate to some better wine storage options, ones that will really stand the test of time and our family’s antics. (Meaning our kids playing in the house, even though we tell them not to.) This is something that I’ve kind of thought about for a while, but I haven’t started doing research on it until now.
My wife and I were looking for some ideas about how to store all of our wine when we came across some stuff on sears windows replacement. After I read through some more information on it I decided to see about getting our windows replaced too. That’s something else that I’d love to get done around the house too.
We found this one neat wine rack that was unlike any that we’d ever seen before. Even after looking around on the Internet I hadn’t seen one like that. So I think that we’re going to go with that one because it will be such a conversation piece.
I often hear from my parents the phrase, “The world is upside down”. It means that people are no longer doing things the way it should be. For e.g. A man wants to be a woman and vice versa. I often wonder how it would be like if the world is upside down. Well, scientifically even if you are in South Pole you are still standing up straight.
Now I don’t have to wonder anymore. There are many countries where houses are built upside down. Everything in the house is arranged upside down. One such house is in Tamparuli, Sabah, Malaysia. Its owner Alexander Yee thought of the idea and since its contruction, it has become a major tourist hit in Tamparuli. It seems that it is the only one in South-east Asia. Do visit it when you stop by at Tamparuli.
My brother-in-law and family will be having their holiday in Langkawi this week. It is their 4th time visiting Langkawi.
I asked them, “Why do you like to go to Langkawi for so many times?” “Well, the sceneries are nice, the food is cheap and it’s a great place to get away from the busyness of KL”.
Hmm, I guess that represents the obvious reasons why the local people wants to visit Langkawi. I’ve been to Langkawi and I can say that it is a place for people to relax and get away for their hectic lifestyle. Maybe when I have the time, I’ll visit Langkawi again.

Our Baltimore row house was finally complete. After two years of extensive remodel inside and out, the end was near and our excitement was just beginning. We fell in love with it the minute we saw it and it has consumed us ever since. Little did we know the struggles and triumphs we would experience over the next two years. As challenging as it has been, we both agree it was worth every minute. The utilities will be on next week and the furniture delivery is scheduled to arrive ten days from now. I logged onto expertsatellite.com and found their installation schedule to coincide perfectly with all the other utilities. We will be well settled into our new home by Thanksgiving. I think it will be a wonderful time to have a housewarming party and celebrate our success with all those who helped make it happen. I hired a party planner to arrange a festive event and a caterer from my local neighborhood to supply the food and service. A new beginning in my favorite city, I am one lucky girl.
Last week we went for our family holiday at Tiara Beach Resort, PD. I believe it was God’s intervention that made us ended up there. We managed to rent an apartment cheaper than the resort rate and also receive unbelievable discount for the wristband to play at the water park.
With a big family like mine, apartment is the best and cheapest accommodation whenever we go for a holiday. If you happened to be in Edmonton, you can check out Edmonton apartments. They have hundreds of apartment for rent according to your budget and preferences.
Two of my in laws are coming back here for 3 weeks holiday and they are looking for an apartment to rent for a month. For a family of 4 each, it will be cheaper to rent an apartment for everyone than to stay in hotel rooms for 3 weeks. Unfortunately they do not have much option as what is being offer by Edmonton.
